Tungtay Coating entered the vacuum coating industry since the early 1990s and has been dedicating itself to the research and industrialization of extensive magnetic sputtering vacuum coating, developing from the former heat reflecting glass coating for construction to the latter LOW-E glass. During its development, Tungtay keeps cooperating with advanced science research institutions at home and abroad. Through technology intruduction, self-research and self-development, Tungtay’s techniques, design and manufacture of large-sized surface coating equipment has enhanced to the advanced international level. In particular, it has become one of the small numbers of enterprises in the world to offer technological equipment and techniques of the production line in the LOW-Eglass coating project.

As a technologically innovative enterprise, Tungtay’s decision made at the administrative level show its strategic and forsighted vision. In the early industrial restructuring, it played an active role in the display industry; untill 2000, it entered the ITO industry of LCD; after 2000, it further developed high reflecting surface mirror of rear projection TV and other products, which fills in the blank of large-area optical film production by domestic manufacturers, breaks the high price of surface reflecting mirrior controlled by foreign manufacturers and makes contribution to the promotion of the development of new display in China. In recent years, with the constant upgrading of China’s e-consumption industry, an era of plate display arrives. Since 2000, Tungtay developed complete set of products of PDP and LCD displays in succession, gradually entering the upper reaches of e-consumption industry.

1. EMI filter for PDP, the large-area filter, mainly adopting the coating technique, fills in the domestic blank. The direct coating on the glass surface with the advanced coating technique gains an incomparable advantage over conventional foreign screen filters. The current production capacity has reached over 2,000,000 PDP filter annually.
2. High-filterability screen defender for top-grade display like LCD (materials including PMMA, PC, GLASS, etc.). This product has been much better than products in the existing market as demonstrated by its 85% filterability.
3. High-filterability and high-resistivity electric glass for touch screen, and high-filterability and high-resistivity electric PET film.
4. Diffuser, reflecter, prim film for LCD backlighting filters.
